Product overview

MasterFlow 936 AN is a WRAS approved, two-component, pure epoxy resin based high performance anchoring grout which can be used in cracked and un-cracked concrete. MasterFlow 936 AN has now received the ETA certification for the use in C1 and the more demanding, C2 seismic categories (see below).

Seismic Approval for Anchors

For chemical anchors to successfully complete this certification procedure they must provide all technical information necessary for European Technical Assessment, in terms of load and displacement, according to the guideline ETAG 001 (Annex E). Specifically, two test protocols are identified depending on the seismicity of the area and the class of importance of the building on which work must be performed:

• C1: only for non-structural uses and for levels of low seismicity.
• C2: for structural uses and non-structural uses and for levels of significant seismicity.
