    ​Performance Flooring Training at the BASF's construction plant in Mlolongo

    Construction Chemicals Training

    BASF under the Construction Chemicals division conducted a three-day performance flooring training from 5th – 7th November at the BASF's construction plant in Mlolongo. The training was conducted by BASFs' flooring application specialist Jacobus Pretorius with an objective to equip all approved applicators with the latest technological expertise offered by BASF.

    The training was attended by twenty-nine applicators from the East African region mainly Rwanda, Uganda, Tanzania and Kenya. The trainees learnt how different flooring solutions can be customized to achieve specific performance, installation and aesthetic criteria. Day one focused on MasterTop a unique polyurethane flooring product that is ideal for different buildings.  The trainer demonstrated different steps that should be followed to achieve positive results. This included; cleaning of the application area, mixing exact ratios of chemicals parts and techniques used in applying. Day 2& 3 focused on Ucrete training.

    Performance Flooring Training Tanzania

    The training included an interactive session that involved a presentation showcasing apparatus required for different sites and actual site preparation. Q& A session was also incorporated where trainees shared their experiences on the challenges they encounter while at the site.

    The applicators praised BASFs' efforts in constantly supporting them to fully integrate Master Builders Solutions by providing technical advice, customized on-site support and product training.
