Master Builders Solutions® has expanded its portfolio of advanced flooring solutions with the launch of MasterTop TC 943, a hard-wearing, low-VOC, premium-finish topcoat that provides a high-performance alternative to the traditional epoxy and polyurethane finishes.
Improved hygiene and service life for flooring
“MasterTop TC 943 offers improved durability and aesthetics compared to polyurethane and epoxy floor finishes already on the market,” emphasized Eric Boullenois, Global Performance Flooring and Xolutec® Manager at Master Builders Solutions. “In addition, better hygiene is achieved thanks to its high scratch resistance and cleanability.” In tests, MasterTop TC 943 outperforms water-based top coats. It also received a certificate of qualification as clean room sustainable material.
Sustainable and aesthetic
Being solvent-free, odorless and fast curing, MasterTop TC 943 is designed for easy, comfortable application with minimal disruption. Eric Boullenois explained: “Our new topcoat’s strong sustainability credentials mean that its specification contributes to LEED certification. Its UV-color stability performance is matched by its aesthetic appearance, which features an attractive satin-textured finish.”
Use cases
MasterTop TC 943 is suitable for installation in hospitals and other healthcare buildings, public buildings, pharmaceutical facilities, warehouses, engineering as well as light and medium industrial environments. Eric Boullenois added: “MasterTop TC 943 is fully compatible with Master Builders Solution’s MasterTop 1912 and 1913 industrial flooring systems for new installations and can be used to upgrade standard epoxy floors requiring refurbishment.”
