Master Builders Solutions by BASF participates in The Big 5 Construct Egypt 2019
Master Builders Solutions by BASF participated in The Big 5 Construct Egypt exhibition – one of the biggest construction materials exhibitions in Egypt. The exhibition took place from the 2nd of September to the 4th of September and over 1500 visitors visited our booth, joined our seminar and discussion.
In addition to introducing our innovative solutions in the construction chemicals field to the clients, we also participated with a seminar titled “Sustainable Future by Master Builders Solutions Green Sense Concrete” presented by Mohamed Hammam, Admixtures Systems Manager with over 60 participants from students, contractors and engineers. This seminar aimed to influence the current and future minds of Egypt to help make out future more sustainable.
This year Big 5 introduced a new discussion panel titled “Overcoming gender biased issues in the construction industry with innovative solutions" and two of our lady engineers Rehab Shehab; Business Development Manager and Rosine Edouard; Regional Sales Manager Mega Contractors participated in this unique discussion. They shared their challenges in a male dominated industry and discussed with other participants how to positively rise above them. This discussion was one of a kind as the ladies got to share real life insights and inspirational stories with the public, which helped the audience see things from a different perspective.
The booth design was a new concept, as we relied on real life simulation of the construction chemicals industry. We used real containers as the main structure for the booth, cargo boxes for storage, pallets inspired designs for the main seating area and desk. We also used drums as the main table body and flooring samples of MasterTop 1205 as table tops. The booth design and structure were the topic for most visitors, “this is such a creative design, I feel like I am really in a construction site,” said one of the visitors.
To make things fun but also educational, we had a spin and win game in the booth, people would spin, answer a question about us and then win a prize. This allowed us to connect with our clients on a different level.
Our visitors were mostly engineering students, freelance architects, contractors and consultants. The exhibition was a great chance for us to connect with our customers, get to know their demands better, and provide them with our expert opinion regarding all sorts of construction related problems. It allowed us to introduce our innovative solutions to our successful partners hopefully for a sustainable future. We are looking forward to more client interactions.
