Fast track floor solution for bakery

Fifers Bakery, an industrial bakery in Gauteng, South Africa, is part of the First Lifestyle Group. It supplies goods to all the major retail outlets and stringent hygiene standards are a prerequisite. When Fifers needed to refurbish its 5,000 m2 floor surface they selected, BASF Construction Chemicals as their supplier of choice. 

In addition to improving hygiene, the client specified a slip-resistant surface that could withstand the heavy duty abuse from its steel wheeled trolleys, baking trays, industry cleaners and high temperature loading. Installation needed to take place without Fifers stopping production, so a dust-free fast track solution was essential.
