How does MasterTop 1324 work?
MasterTop 1324 is the absolute powerhouse in the sector of decorative polyurethane cast floors.
This sturdy floor, used in a heavy-duty environment, provides protection against wear, dirt, penetration of liquids and impact combined with durability and decorative élan. A floor that lends colour to the work surface. Which colour? You decide!
MasterTop 1324 is usually applied in a minimum of three layers; a primer, body coat and an optional topcoat, a scratch primer and pore-filling body coat may also be applied where necessary. To meet the surface finish and functional requirements of different applications there are six different system applications available:
MasterTop 1324 – A smooth matt finish for normal substrates
MasterTop 1324 A – A smooth matt finish for asphalt screed substrates
MasterTop 1324 R – An anti-slip finish for normal substrates
MasterTop 1324 AR– An anti-slip finish for asphalt screed substrates
MasterTop 1324 AB- A smooth matt finish with anti-bacterial properties
MasterTop 1324 NB- An easy to clean moderate slip resistant finish
What is MasterTop 1324 used for?
MasterTop 1324 is formulated for seamless indoor floors bearing medium to heavy loads and where a high degree of resilience is required: for example schools, factories, public areas, storage areas and stores / shopping areas.
The static crack-bridging properties of MasterTop 1324 make it an obvious choice for any seamless floor applied onto concrete with static cracks and control joints.
MasterTop 1324 A and MasterTop AR are designed for application onto asphaltic substrates
MasterTop 1324 AB is intended for use in areas where the highest hygienic standards are essential; for example hospitals and other healthcare facilities.
MasterTop 1324 and Mastertop AR are suited to use in wet areas or other areas where there is an increased risk of slipping / skidding. The degree of slip / skid resistance can be altered by choosing from a variety of aggregates.
MasterTop 1324 NB is suited to areas where a small improvement in slip resistance is required but cleanliness is also important. It is ideally suited for walkways, stairs and ramps in normally dry areas.
