MasterSeal M 266 - Liquid applied below grade two-component polyurethane waterproofing coating
How does MasterSeal M 266 work?
MasterSeal M 266 is a two-component polyurethane liquid applied coating. Once applied MasterSeal M 266 makes an effective elastomeric water-proofing membrane.
As is common with all liquid applied waterproofing membranes MasterSeal M 266 should be applied in two coats to minimise the risk of a discontinuity in the membrane. In below ground structures, wet areas and roofs the applied dry film thickness of both coats should be 1.2mm. Where a superior performance is required the material can be reinforced with a layer of glass fibre mesh, each coat encapsulating the mesh should be a minimum of 1mm dry film thickness.
What is MasterSeal M 266 used for?
MasterSeal M 266 is recommended for waterproofing and damp proofing applications in:
- basements,
- bathrooms,
- kitchens,
- pools,
- refrigeration storage,
- roofs.
What are the benefits of MasterSeal M 266?
MasterSeal M 266 offers the following advantages:
- High bond strength
- High tensile strength and elongation
- High build application in a single layer, but two coat application is always recommended
- High solid content
- Chemical cure, does not need the presence of moisture
- Corrosion resistant, mildew proof and frost-resistant
