Magnesia-phosphate cement-based repair mortar for high early strength repairs from -20°C to >30°C
When you’re working against the clock to complete concrete repairs, using the right mortar can minimise delays and work disruption. Developed with achieving the quickest possible return to service in mind, MasterEmaco T 545 is a rapid-setting, high early strength repair based on magnesia-phosphate cement for temperatures from -20°C to more than 30°C. At 20°C, it allows 45-minute turnaround to reopen repairs to traffic.
Where to use MasterEmaco T 545?
MasterEmaco T 545 can be used for concrete slab repairs requiring high early strength to allow traffic, and repairs at low ambient temperatures:
- Industrial and cold store floor areas
- Warehouses and loading bays
- Concrete roads and nosings
- Bridge decks, quays and crane rails
- Around fixing bolts
- Raising/levelling manhole covers, gratings, hydrants etc.
MasterEmaco T 545 can be applied in depths of 20-75mm unfilled, and at depths of 75-150mm when combined with 10mm aggregate.
What makes MasterEmaco T 545 different?
This non-shrink mortar delivers exceptional performance, with similar modulus and thermal properties to concrete. It keeps traffic and production delays to an absolute minimum and is suitable for application in sub-zero temperatures. It provides excellent adhesion to both concrete and steel reinforcement, removing the need for secondary bonding agents. The resulting repairs are extremely durable and less permeable than cementitious mortars, with high resistance to de-icing salts, high freeze-thaw resistance and chemical resistance to fuel, engine oils and urine, and inhibits corrosion in steel, even where chlorides are involved.
