​	The top deck of a multi-storey car park is normally not covered and is exposed to the elements the whole year round. In addition to the chemical and mechanical loads in a multistorey car park, materials are subjected to severe stress from ultraviolet radiation, rain, snow and ice as well as extreme temperature variations.
