BASF and Edvirt team up to promote sprayed concrete simulation training for underground construction professionals
BASF and Edvirt, a Swedish simulation and training company focus on mining and tunnelling operations, joined hands to organize Hong Kong first ever 3D sprayed concrete simulation training for underground construction professionals. Participants will discover BASF latest sprayed concrete solutions with Edvirt’s interactive 3D simulator through gamification followed by lessons and exercises.
The workshop aims to teach and challenge operators in both civil and tunnelling operations, enhancing operator performance to boost safety, improve quality and cut costs through scenario based training.
The workshop will also provide an insight to a “fast track” passport style training scheme, that could be adopted in Hong Kong, for sprayed concrete operators incorporating online modules with dedicated simulator.
