Effective surface protection with sprayable, polymer based TSLs
MasterRoc's Thin Spray-On Liners (TSLs) are ready-to-use, fast setting polymers offering increasing tensile strength development with minimal demand on logistics. They provide an excellent bond to most substrates, including concrete, rock and coal. They are applied with simple dry sprayed concrete equipment that can be set up quickly for easy, efficient use underground to protect the substrate from water and humidity.
In hard rock and coal mining MasterRoc TSLs can be used for:
- Stabilization of rock and coal through substrate sealing.
- Reduction of weathering and air slack
- Preliminary slope protection.
- Preliminary and temporary in-cycle support.
Because of its excellent properties, MasterRoc TSLs substantially improve ground stability and stand up time adding important safety benefits such as preventing the passage of harmful gases and offering fire resistance.
MasterRoc TSLs can reduce the risk of hard rock strain bursting, reduce air-slacking and rock weathering and can be used to rehabilitate collapsed areas, helping to maintain the integrity of the mine.
