New Petfood Manufacturing Facility Installs MBS Superior Flooring
When Petsource created a new state-of-the-art facility in Seward, Nebraska for petfood manufacturers, the company demanded a “sanitary design with an unparalleled focus on food safety.” Master Builders Solutions offered a literal ground floor solution to their needs.
Master Builders Solutions provided Petsource with flooring that met the customer’s demand for a surface that could withstand heavy traffic, chemicals, and hot water while also remaining slip resistant. Master Builders Solutions also met the facility requirements that flooring be easy to clean while inhibiting bacterial growth.
Master Builders Solutions installed Ucrete DP with a DP Topcoat in the manufacturing area of the facility. Ucrete DP is perfect for handling the extreme temperature challenges of the freeze-drying process Petsource uses. It’s also resistant to a wide range of chemicals, has excellent impact and abrasion resistance, and is high-grip and slip resistant for worker safety.
Another Master Builders Solutions flooring product, MasterTop 1234 Flake (aggregate) was installed throughout the facility in restrooms, locker rooms, offices, and the break room offering an inviting, yet professional appearance. Although perfectly suited for less industrial areas, it still has the durability to stand up to an in-service temperature range of 0° – 170° F (-18° – 76° C).
Both Ucrete DP and MasterTop 1234 are VOC compliant with low odor.
