Read more about the Concrete Preservation Institute Foundation:

The Concrete Preservation Institute Foundation (CPI) is a proven public/private partnership program working with the U.S. Departments of Defense and Interior, and with industry companies across the country. Helping service members avoid potential military-to-civilian transition pitfalls, CPI offers career preparation and placement for service members of all military branches during their last year of active duty service. CPI’s hands-on career training program, available to service members during their last six months of service, completes significant structural repair, new construction, deferred maintenance, and safety and access projects in national parks and public sites; current locations are Alcatraz Island and Pearl Harbor with additional planned sites across the U.S. Construction companies who design, build, supply, and maintain structures and infrastructure, many of which are critically in need of trades & management workforce across the country, sponsor CPI’s programs and hire alumni for careers in contracting, production, transportation, sales, service, and related areas.
